Warriors Inquire About Mavericks' Daniel Gafford in Potential Porzingis Trade
Golden State is reportedly exploring frontcourt options, reaching out to Dallas about a swap involving Kristaps Porzingis as his health concerns persist.
The Golden State Warriors are continuing to survey the trade market for frontcourt reinforcements amid ongoing worries over Kristaps Porzingis' condition.
According to a report by BasketNews, citing NBA reporter Evan Sidery, the Warriors have reached out to the Dallas Mavericks to discuss a potential trade centered on Porzingis and center Daniel Gafford. The discussions reportedly stem from Porzingis' health status, which has shown little sign of progress.
The inquiry regarding Gafford marks the latest pivot for Golden State's front office. The team had previously been linked to Myles Turner of the Milwaukee Bucks as they continue to weigh contingency plans inside.
