Draymond Green Ready to Play Elsewhere Next Season if Warriors Move On
The four-time champion wants to retire in Golden State, but he is preparing for the possibility of continuing his career with another franchise.

Draymond Green intends to remain on the court next season regardless of whether his future stays in the Bay Area, making it clear he will look for another team if Golden State decides against keeping him.
According to a report from RealGM Wiretap citing his comments to CNBC Sport, the four-time champion is approaching this year as if it could be his last with the organization. While Green has stated that his preference is to eventually retire with the Warriors, he does not intend to hang up his sneakers if the team moves in a different direction.
Green signed a one-year, $27.7 million contract with Golden State in July. If the front office had succeeded in landing LeBron James, Green was expected to commit to a multi-year extension at a lower average annual value instead. Without that long-term security in place, the veteran forward is keeping his options open across the league once the current campaign concludes.
