Frequently asked questions
Short answers about what we publish and how.
What is Ministry of Hoops?
Ministry of Hoops is a basketball news site covering the NBA, the EuroLeague and European basketball, published in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Bulgarian.
Who runs Ministry of Hoops?
A founder-led editorial desk based in Bulgaria. The site is published by Adsprint Studio. More on the about page.
Where does your news come from?
Every article is based on reporting by another news outlet, which is named in the article and linked in the "Reported by" box at the end. Our sources include specialist basketball outlets such as BasketNews, Eurohoops, Sportando, TalkBasket and RealGM, and Yahoo Sports for the NBA. We do not claim reporting we did not do.
Are the articles written with AI?
Yes. Each article is drafted by an AI model from the original report, within rules our editors set: use only facts in the source material, never invent quotes, statistics or dates, and write shorter rather than pad. Articles are published when a story is selected; there is no separate human sign-off on each one. When something is wrong we correct it openly. The editorial policy explains the whole process.
How do you choose which stories to cover?
New stories are collected from our sources every 15 minutes. An automated editorial step scores them using weights and rules our editors set, and selects the stories we write about several times a day.
Is each language a translation of the English article?
No. The Spanish, Portuguese and Bulgarian versions are written separately for those readers from the same source material. Every version of a story links to the others through the language switcher.
Are you affiliated with the NBA, the EuroLeague or any club?
No. We are independent and not endorsed by the NBA, the EuroLeague or any club. Team and league names belong to their owners.
Do you publish betting tips or odds?
No. We publish no betting tips, odds or gambling promotion, and no affiliate links.
Is Ministry of Hoops free to read?
Yes. Every article is free to read, with no paywall and no account needed.
How do I report a mistake?
Use the "Report an error" link at the end of any article, or email partnership@adsprintstudio.com. We correct the article and list the correction, with its date, on our corrections page.
