Pelicans Set Steep Asking Price for Trey Murphy III and Herb Jones

The New Orleans Pelicans are demanding a major haul of draft capital in any potential trade talks involving wings Trey Murphy III and Herb Jones.

According to a report from Sportando, the Pelicans are asking for three first-round draft picks in exchange for Murphy, while setting the price on Jones at two first-rounders. The Oklahoma City Thunder have reportedly been linked to Jones as interest circulates around the league.

Both Murphy and Jones have established themselves as vital young pieces for New Orleans, and the steep valuation signals that the front office will only consider moving either player if an opposing team meets their significant asking price.
