Lakers Could Look to Trade Jaden Hardy After Just Four Games
Los Angeles may seek frontcourt upgrades by shopping the 24-year-old guard, who has logged just seven minutes in the opening stretch of the season.
Just four games into the regular season, the Los Angeles Lakers may already be contemplating a move to reshuffle their bench.
According to a report from BasketNews, NBA insider Jovan Buha indicated on his show Buha's Block that the Lakers are expected to explore trade options for guard Jaden Hardy. Buha noted that he does not view the 24-year-old as a "serious rotation player" for Los Angeles moving forward.
Hardy arrived in Los Angeles only a few months ago and has struggled to secure playing time out of the gate. He has featured in just one game so far, recording seven minutes of action.
Any potential deal involving Hardy would reportedly be aimed at refining the back end of the Lakers' roster, with the front office targeting reinforcements at backup center.
