Karl-Anthony Towns reveals he prepared for trade to Bucks alongside Giannis
The Knicks big man started looking at Milwaukee homes on Zillow following a brutal January slump and swirling trade rumors.
Karl-Anthony Towns was once getting ready for a move to the Milwaukee Bucks to team up with Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Speaking to Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic, reported via BasketNews, Towns explained that a difficult 2-9 stretch in January took a heavy toll during the New York Knicks' regular season. The atmosphere grew so tense that his wife stopped attending home games.
The pressure peaked following a 17-point defeat against a rebuilding Dallas Mavericks squad. With trade speculation linking him to Milwaukee at an all-time high, Towns admitted he began preparing for the possibility of joining Antetokounmpo on the Bucks, even browsing house listings in the area on Zillow.
